Our approach to trauma:
Research has shown that trauma is an injury; it is not a personal failing.
We believe in taking a non-pathologizing approach in the treatment of trauma. The goal of trauma treatment is to heal the injury.
This group will provide specific education about the impact of trauma and will allow group members to reflect on and process their unique experiences. We want to build appreciation for the creative ways we've survived, while increasing empathy for ourselves and others.

Quotes from former group members:
~ The group was an important step on my journey to healing. It was a place to be seen, known, and safe.
~ If you are looking to bring your healing to the next level, a group of like-minded women with inspiring stories, and a close-knit community to support your journey- this is the place. I had many personal revelations during my participation in the group that helped me grow and the best part was I felt less alone in the struggle. Great facilitators and a welcoming/safe place.
~ There’s a comfort in learning to understand yourself better through group therapy. Going through it with others adds a level of acceptance and compassion that feels extra impactful.
~ It was very beneficial to learn with and from the other group members and see other examples of healing journeys. I really appreciated the lessons... prepared for each session, which helped structure our conversations and provide meaningful foundations for further exploration.
