Hi!  I'm Audrey!

Psychotherapist • Professional People-Decoder • Recovering Parenting Survivor

I help people solve the mystery of why they keep repeating the same patterns - because let’s be honest, we all have those "why do I keep doing this?" moments. As a psychotherapist and professional people-decoder, I create a space where we can explore your story with equal parts curiosity and compassion (and the occasional appropriate joke when needed). My superpower? Spotting the strengths you can’t see in yourself - yes, even in the things you think are "problems."

After surviving the beautiful chaos of raising three kids on both sides of the Atlantic (which taught me more about human nature than any textbook), I came to therapy as a second career. Now I combine professional training with real-world wisdom to help with: depression that feels stubbornly heavy, anxiety (including the "why am I anxious about being anxious?" variety), fertility struggles that need more understanding, relationship tune-ups (and sometimes complete overhauls), infidelity, financial intimacy, parenting challenges at any stage, and grief in all its complicated forms.

My approach is psychodynamic at heart - we’ll explore how your past influences your present - but always client-centered and strengths-based. Think of it like emotional archaeology, but with less dirt and more "aha" moments. I’m passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ folks and diverse populations, bringing cultural humility forged from both professional training and personal experience but I welcome all comers.

When I’m not in session, you’ll find me walking my rescue dog Gertie (who believes that everyone should have second chances). I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation - no robotic "how does that make you feel?" unless you really want the classic therapist experience (I’ve got the head tilt and thoughtful "mm-hmm" ready if needed).

Important Note:My rescue dog Gertie thinks everyone should go to therapy. She’s very wise (for someone who eats tissues).
